Vidrio

Raleigh, NC

Vidrio is a stunning example of Olive Architecture’s ability to blend modern design with vibrant, artistic elements. The restaurant’s dynamic interiors feature bold colors, intricate lighting, and captivating artwork, creating an atmosphere that is both sophisticated and lively.
Olive Architecture worked closely with restaurateur Lou Moshakos from day one of the vacant shell space to the final touches in the kitchen to help fulfill the dream of bringing the heartbeat of the Mediterranean to Raleigh.

The restaurant features a 32 ft tall interior wall of blown glass, strategically illuminated to create light splash through the glass sculpture giving a feeling of light passing through the day in the Mediterranean. The kitchen is open to dining areas displaying flames from the wood fire grill and pizza oven. A sculptural stair of steel, glass and wood passes above the dining room to a second -floor mezzanine, bar and event space overlooking Raleigh’s Glenwood Avenue as well as the glass wall in the main dining room.
Every detail, from the open floor plan to the stylish furnishings, is thoughtfully curated to enhance the dining experience. Explore our gallery below to see how Olive Architecture designed Vidrio as a visually engaging and memorable dining destination, where creativity and elegance meet.
