Position:  Intern Architect / Project Designer

Job Description:

We are looking for someone with strong graphic documentation and design skills with professional goals to produce well-crafted architectural design solutions.  The candidate should possess strong communication skills and be committed to develop strong client, consultant and contractor collaborations.  Under the guidance of the principal architects and associates, the intern/ project designer will develop commercial project documents and illustrations—from schematic design through construction documents—for projects that range in complexity and type.

Qualifications:

  • BArch or MArch degree from a NAAB accredited university.
  • 3+ years of professional experience and working towards licensure.
  • Strong skills in Revit, AutoCAD, Excel.
  • Rendering skills for presentation and design visualizations are highly desirable including SketchUp, Photoshop, etc.
  • Solid understanding of drawing conventions, file organization, external references and technical accuracy.
  • Experience in creating commercial construction documents.
  • Self-motivated creative problem solving ability.
